The Rim of the World Historical society has established a program designed to recognize landmarks of cultural significance in the west-end San Bernardino Mountains. The Cultural Landmark Designation program will allow you to:
• Establish a Unique Identity for your Home or Business.
• Help Preserve,Protect and Promote Mountain History.
• Foster a sense of Community Pride.
• Advertise your Business
• Increase Property Values.
The landmark designation covers five categories of historic resources: Buildings, Structures, Sites, Objects and Historic Districts. A resource found to merit the designation of ROTWHS “Cultural Landmark” will be added to a list which is maintained and updated by the Historical Society. The property owner/grantee may use the term “A Rim of the World Historical Society Cultural Landmark” in their advertising, brochures, and other promotional literature.
